BY REGISTERING FOR THIS CLASS YOU SIGNIFY THAT YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:

You must be at least 10 years old (If under 18, a parent must accompany you throughout the class)

You must not be prohibited by Local or Federal laws from legally possessing a firearm

All students are required to sign a liability waiver at the beginning of the class
COURSE INFORMATION
THIS IS A GREAT COURSE FOR ANYONE TO TAKE IN ORDER TO DEMYSTIFY FIREARMS AND ENSURE THEY KNOW HOW TO SAFELY HANDLE ONE—EVEN IF THEY PLAN ON NEVER SHOOTING ONE. THE MOST COMMON ACTION TYPES OF HANDGUNS, SHOTGUNS, AND RIFLES ARE COVERED IN THIS COURSE.
THIS IS A NON-SHOOTING COURSE, TEACHING STUDENTS THE BASIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTITUDE NECESSARY FOR THE SAFE HANDLING AND STORAGE OF FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION IN THE HOME. THIS IS A CLASSROOM ONLY COURSE. STUDENTS ARE TAUGHT THE NRA’S THREE RULES FOR SAFE GUN HANDLING, PRIMARY CAUSES OF FIREARMS ACCIDENTS, FIREARM PARTS, HOW TO UNLOAD CERTAIN ACTION TYPES, AMMUNITION COMPONENTS, CLEANING, CARE, SAFE STORAGE OF FIREARMS IN THE HOME, AND THE BENEFITS OF BECOMING AN ACTIVE PARTICIPANT IN THE SHOOTING SPORTS.
